I have a Wylex NN range Consumer unit and need a 45A MCB for a 10.8kW shower. Wylex do not sell MCBs above 40A, so is there an alternative brand that will fit?

Have you checked whether this shower is 10.8kW @ 230 or 240 V ?

is there existing RCD protection available?
if not you may end up fitting a small RCD board with a 45A MCB.

10.8 kW @ 230V = 46.96A
the 10.8kw rating will be at 240v, ie exactly 45A
