google pak1. com, remove the 1,add the i, cannot see any problems there.
That's what we hear from racists all the time; "can't see the problem with that".

Many words are ambiguous, hence intonation and meaning is important. Many words are contraversial and/or inflamatory, simply because of their history of usage.

Harry clearly used the word in a friendly way, but it's a contraversial word, therefore it's stupid to use it, whether or not it was racist to do so.

Not being able to see the problem is the problem.

What problem?
Sounds like political correctness at play. Turban clad guys used too land into my yard selling clothes. We would have a chat with them and after wards when they left if someone asked who was that the usual reply was " Ooh just some pak1 selling clothes". Im Irish btw and have no problem with being labelled paddy , racist , ignorant or anything else that can be thought off. But then Im pretty thick skinned anyway.

A case in point, methinks.

Sounds like political correctness at play.
Another favourite racist platitude.

Thick-skinned, or just thick? After all, aren't all Irish people stupid? And I mean that affectionately, of course.

Nice try Softarze.
Turn your PC off and face mecca and beat yourself with a stick for a week and you will see the light. ;)

Not as thick-skinned as you make out, then.

Perhaps if you took your pixie hat off and took a break from eating peat then you'd understand. Well, I say understand, but I mean that you could find an English person to explain it to you.

For anyone who finds this post insulting, it really isn't, because I once knew someone who wasn't insulted at all. He wasn't Irish, but he was called Mick, just like all of them are.

I know it must be difficult being english and all but don't beat yourself up too much about it.
Remember there is life outside of your pc.
Im off to my bog now for some peat to lite the fire. ;)
