Guess the fault 2

Dimmer pack less that 2 metres from Dist board.
Twin and Earth Cable run behind hollow wood panel
Colours connected right both ends but dimmer reverse polarity on the supply terminals.
This was in a major chain pub so would assume dimmer packs fitted by somone competent.

Why would someone so apparently clueless take the time to use the correct size crimps, or crimps at all for that matter

And why would someone go to the effort of crimping a joint in there, when the entire cable is only 2 metres long?

Only little home automation, 4 channel dimmers, they were only 16 amp supplys.
Not like the ones you do
