Looting by scumbags aside, I think it’s indicative of the effects of recession and unemployment. It's not just one thing but a multiplicity and compilation of changes which have been happening in Broken Britain over many years. The devil makes work for idle hands and if it didn’t happen now it would have happened sooner or later over something else IMO.
There is no such thing as the Big Society; they are just more empty words from an empty head. If he thinks a sound-bite like that together will hollow promises and useless, ineffective legislation are somehow going to bring about a change in peoples’ attitude he is well and truly deluded.
It took a long time to drag this country into the gutter and if anyone thinks the yoof of today are suddenly going to learn how to live a good life overnight and show respect they are also deluded.

Internal affairs
Immigration
Citizenship
POLICING
National security
Look it up if you don't believe me. All of the above seem to me to have had some relevance over the past few days. If May is not responsible for the police why is she meeting with them to see what they need? I thought that the government was prepared for such things, particularly with the Olympics next year and that they were ready for any such event. Obviously it has to happen first before they 'talk' about it.
May should spend less time avoiding questions on RADIO 4 and deciding which handbag matches her shoes.

They are simply not equipped mentally, economically or socially to raise children in a decent manner.
How many of those kids actually have BOTH parents living at home notably a DAD?

Answer= ABORTION!
The reason being that the most likely offenders , those born esp unplanned to poor or single mothers were not born at all!
