let by test

when carrying out a let by test, the pressure stays at 10mbar for the first min but after a short time pressure risses to 24mbar. is this a let by fail?

How can it stay at 10 mb for a minute then rise to 24 after a short time? That doesn't make sense.

i raised pressure to 10mbar for 1 min and less than .2 movement ocourd, then my phone rang and after 5mins or so i looked bk at manometer and it was up to 24mbar. i would say thats a fail but found no more info in corgi book???

yes and pressure risses very slowly? but not fast enough to be over .2 after 1min? gas pipe is internall but close to hot and cold pipework?
