All the idiots who think a man should be forced to shake hands with somebody he doesn't like and then want him banned for refusing to do so, need to realise one simple thing.

The reason Suarez has had to apologise is because he told Liverpool that he would, and then let them down big time, but if he felt he couldn't do it when it came to the crunch that's fair enough.
The fact of the matter is that the handshake ritual before the game is hypocritical at best, and now has been turned into a flashpoint for future games. It needs dropping straight away.
The ridiculous over reaction from Ferguson and the mancs speaks more about them than anything else.

Cantona was banned for eight months, some of which was in the close season. Man U obviously viewed it VERY seriously, they fined him a whole two weeks wages. He should have been done for GBH, but was done for assault and got away with community service on appeal. Ferdinand's was an eight month ban, for refusing a drug test. It could, and should, have been two years. He was fined 50 grand, probably less than a weeks wages. The club captain Keane was banned for 5 games...5 fckin games after admitting deliberately doing Inge Haaland, which Haaland himself reckons ended his career. Really hard done by, I don't think. Yet the manager of these scumbags thinks it right that another clubs player should be jettisoned for refusing to shake hands with a troublemaking plik. Having said all that, Suarez by his refusal after agreeing to do it has put himself above the good of his club and should be fcked off asap.
