So it's about bent coppers, yes seen em all my life, you don't think an extra 20 million pounds will get rid of them do you???.
No, not at all. That doesn't mean the problem should just be ignored though does it?So it's about bent coppers, yes seen em all my life, you don't think an extra 20 million pounds will get rid of them do you???.
Therein lies the problem. Where do you draw the line. What about the vultures that caused this enquiry?????
Why not mention the two blacks who dragged a man from a pub in north London and cut his throat, and attacked his father who tried to defend him?
No big "Stephen Lawrence " deal there was there. This was last week, anyone see it in the news? All over the papers? Groups set up?
Have to agree.
(Although it was a gang of 'em, and the Father was fighting for his life in hospital,( from stab wounds), for laying on his sons bleeding body preventing him from being stabbed further.)
Not much mentioned about THAT.

And you can bet that this will be forgotten about within a few years (at least by the press)
It certainly won't be talked about on internet forums in 20 yrs time.

That's terrible.
Just to check, did the police then detain his father as a suspect?

But it's a 20 year old case.
What is the cost vs benefit?
workplace rules and regulations have changed a fair bit since then, so what use will the results of a 20 year old case be to modern day policing?
A whole raft of anti racism measures have been introduced into the force, so what do we expect this case to achieve?
Remember that today only 30% of violent offences lead to a conviction, and burglaries is somewhere around 10% (These figures are off the top of my head and for bucks, so may vary).
Justice no matter the cost, or should a more "practical" stance be taken?
