Labour coalition or Tory coalition?

One thing I've always wondered about is that when there is a hung parliament, why are the two biggest parties not made to work together?

Even better would be elimination of all but the two largest parties and another vote between the main two.

But then, it's not done for our benefit, is it?

Well, I have a vivid imagination but if that was the rule then I imagine a lot of compromises would follow.

It seems no worse than a Con/Lib coalition.

They are all best of pals outside Westminster.

I don't know so much. I think the only thing they'd agree on would be pay rises for MPs.

Nicola Sturgeon today released the SNPee's manifesto. She says the SNP will represent UK wide interests. Why then on the front to the manifesto does it say "Stronger for Scotland"? Was she not one of these people who pressed for the recent referendum on devolution? How on earth this woman can reconcile this with wider UK interests I don't bloody know. I think she sees a likely outcome of the GE as a hung parliament again and wants to ensure she can get in bed with Milibland and his crew. Believe me, the SNP will not represent UK wide interests. They might be promising this at the moment, but we all know what politicians are like,, don't we?

I can't see the Tories getting in. No pro austerity government has been voted in anywhere in Europe that I know of. Sturgeon is anti austerity so that'll win her friends south of the border.

Shouldn't get too worried about what politicians say or promise before an election. New Labour did lots of things that they didn't even mention, and the Tories have failed to do what they promised.

If a UKIP Tory coalition does happen, UKIP would want a referendum on Europe straight away whereas The Tories would want to string it out as a promise for the following general election. It would only work if UKIP held the balance of power.

UKIP will be lucky to get a seat. Not much coalition there is there?

And voting for Nigel is a vote for Ed.
