I think it's perfectly acceptable for Transam to talk about the cultural wrong doings of honour killings, forced marriage, FGM. It's ok to dislike these practices and it doesn't need you, Himmy, to try and belittle his views and shut him down. 'By posting racist messages on social media' - does disliking honour killings or FGM on social media become racism? Why? Those practices should be condemned anywhere, loudly, and indeed I have heard MP's talk about such issues, even London tonight news mentions FGM in an unfavourable light on many an occasion - are they all racist too? Heck, if someone says anything about any barbaric practices in an less than glowing light, are they all racist in your book?

You point to other cultures in order to detract from the horrific attitude of white western people to others.
Why not identify and eradicate poor attitudes and practices in our culture before pointing any fingers at others.

Yep, as horrific as assaulting or killing others because they appear to be a different colour, or ethnicity, or they just have a different accent!

I agree, these things are horrific, assaulting or killing others because they are different is just the pits, please also be aware that there are many hate crimes that have been committed in the last 10-15 years that are ethnic minority hate crimes against whites, even murders in the past of white Brits by British Asians were racially motivated murders.

It's not a purely white British thing, racism, sorry if that goes against your belief system. Stamp out ALL of it.

I am starting to think that the three stooges might actually have a reason for their inability to see and accept the obvious truth on many subjects.

Seems that our old friend from the electricians forum (now departed) BAS was also suffering from the same condition, seems he had aspergers autism.

Shouldn't you be asking Gas why he does it really? Anyway, I agree, 30 threads in a week about Muslims is far far too much. Said before, I wish there could be a single thread on the subject and leave folk to post away.
