Zone valves don't have a "setting"

The vr66 should open that valve.Yes the heating is controlled by the thermostat. It works. The hot water don't.
There is a auto and manual setting on the zone valve. He text me the following
"Check hot water zone valve is manually open if it's closed boiler cannot push water in to tank".
He actuallly appreciates I helped him wire it.The vr66 should open that valve.
But feel free to open it.
If the valves have to be manually opened does that not prove they are not required. Or not wired correctly
Ps leave your plumber alone it's Sunday evening.
I'm sure he will sort it tomorrow.

Where is the cylinder stat connected to? The white connection looks like wires are missing.

Also vaillant advance support confirmed. Polarity doesn't matter in ebus.
The Unistor is an unvented cylinder so I guess it needs its own motorised valve as part of the safety chain.
