Hawk - another nutter who does not respect UK law. An angry mob of right wing loud-mouths does not represent 'Britain'. UKIP is testament to that.

What are they demonstrating about?

Tommy Robinson (or whatever his current name is) has been jailed for contempt of court.

Protesting on the basis that his arrest and subsequent imprisonment is unlawful

It's not about respecting 'the law'. According to Robinson supporters he was not infinging any UK law by reporting for Rebel Media outside of the court. Apparently a judge was watching him through a window and decided to have him arrested and sentenced within 4 hours ???? In such an event any media organisation reporting on any court case is breaking the same 'laws' he is and are also in contempt of court. Besides a filming crew, he was not accompanied by supporters at the time of his arrest, it cannot be argued that he was in violation of public order either, he recorded his own arrest and it is available online to see. He was approached and arrested whilst speaking at normal volume to his filming crew. No megaphone or loudspeaker was being used.

There is no evidence that his supporters are right wing. In fact I suspect you'll find a large proportion of them are labour or disinfranchised labour non-voters.

His arrest and incarceration is an example of how easily the system can be abused. It's a stitch up.

Obviously noseal I've no interest in trying to convince you. This is for the benefit of people that can think for themselves.

Im struggling to see how there has been a miscarriage of justice.

Tommy Robinson was found in contempt of court, he was given a suspended sentence and told don't do it again.

He did it again and not surprisingly his suspended sentence was no longer suspended.

This has been adopted by his followers as a free speech issue, which it is not.
Excerpt from the Judge:

This contempt hearing is not about free speech. This is not about freedom of the press. This is not about legitimate journalism; this is not about political correctness; this is not about whether one political viewpoint is right or another. It is about justice, and it is about ensuring that a trial can be carried out justly and fairly. It is about ensuring that a jury are not in any way inhibited from carrying out their important function. It is about being innocent until proven guilty. It is not about people prejudging a situation and going round to that court and publishing material, whether in print or online, referring to defendants as "Muslim paedophile rapists". A legitimate journalist would not be able to do that and under the strict liability rule there would be no defence to publication in those terms. It is pejorative language which prejudges the case, and it is language and reporting – if reporting indeed is what it is – that could have had the effect of substantially derailing the trial.

I understand there is lot of anger and frustration in this country in relation to terrorism and child grooming, but the solution is never going to be Tommy Robinson.

Tommy Robinson's solution is a bit like Trumps: we have a problem so lets just impose travel restrictions and blame the whole of a community. All that will achieve is division and lead to more terrorism.

What has Trump done to engage with the Muslim community in the US?
And the same for Tommy Robinson, has he engaged with the Muslim community?

He admitted guilt. He knew what he was doing broadcasting on FB live. He admitted that himself. So what option did the judge have?

You really are a wombat if you can't tell the truth from fiction. Why don't you get a court transcript? That would be too hard and truthful which it's clear you have no interest in. Rather stick to lies and he said, she said crap.

In the end you undermine the point TR is putting across.

Woah woah wish hold your horses Notch.

He was reporting on the sentencing, he states this in the video. The trial was over by that point and the court was awaiting the jury's verdict... So he cannot be accused of contempt or trying to affect the outcome of the trial. The judge is outright lying.

No evidence his supporters are right wing.
Laughing now. Tommy who was the main man for the EDL, the EDL which is a far-right party, has no right wing supporters...
As I said, I think you only see what you want to see.

So every single one of his supporters are right wing are they ? Moron.

He's not a member of the edl.
