Mayhem has promised a vote on another vote if MP's pass her 'deal'...

Apart from appearing to be an act of desperation, is it also a personal face saving exercise?

On top of that it appears to be putting the cart before the horse!

Of course it could still be a case of her 'playing a blinder' :)

Just to clarify, sorry ellal, it wasn't clear.
May has promised MPs a vote on having another referendum, if MPs support her deal.
"MPs will get a vote on whether to hold another referendum if they back the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill, she said."

If they support her deal, what's the point in having another referendum, some time in the distant future?
And what will the referendum look like?

As I said, cart before horse...

And what will the referendum look like?
Who knows, but no doubt there would be quite a lengthy time spent on arguing about the wording...

In the meantime we'd have a new PM, and possibly a general election...

And it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that indyref2 if the SNP get good support in the next year or so...

Whatever happens, the mess we are in is getting worse at every twist and turn!

It is another example of TM beibg deceiptful.

She is saying, vote my deal through and I will guarantee parliament can discuss voting for a referendum-but I wont be PM by then so I can claim my deal won, oh and if parliament votes down another ref, tough my deal goes through.

She is also saying she will set her 10 points in law, lasting only until the end of this parliament.

I notice she is repeating same old lies, Ie common fisheries policy will end, CAP will end, we will stop paying money to Europe blah blah blah -its all carp because that is all to be negotiated. Only a muppet would think Spain would agree to a free trade deal with the UK and allow fishing policy to end and keeping Gibraltar.

I have to say I agree with you today

Maybe if that happens someone may do a Spencer Perceval on her.
Had to look him up. Not that I condone this at all either but I don't think she can alienate herself any more? What a cluster **** of monster proportions. What's her problem.

Now why would anyone want to bring up that possibility?
Because they can't help being a frustrated, pathetic little loser with such a small intellect that eventually they turn to violence because they cannot win using reason, logic and facts?

A bit like yourself perhaps? The amount of vitriol you spurt in every sentence... if you were being profiled believe me many flags would be raised now.

You mean a bilateral agreement (they can't as a member) or that they will veto an EU agreement?
They will veto until they get what they want in terms of fishing rights.

One thing I didnt appreciate as a leave voter is how trade deals are a series of barters formed, probably over decades.

Look at the US.

US stops Chinas cheap steel, China stops US pork, pistachios.

Leaving a major trading bloc means wiping the slate clean and starting at the bottom.
