Democracy working

Do you think breaking the law to push your political ideas through is democratic?
idiot duncan smith seems to think it's a good idea and hopes bojo becomes a 'martyr'...

When the highest echelons of government are talking of breaking the law, then the UK is doomed...

That's what this 'banana republic' has now become - and the world we are supposed to be doing deals with in future is taking notes!

Do you think breaking the law to push your political ideas

Who ever has broken these laws will and should be punished.
Do you think sacking senior MP's who disagree with damaging party policy is democratic?
Did Boris Johnson invent this. Is this one of the laws that have been broken. Have Labour never done this.

Do you think for one minute Bozza gives a hoot about democracy?

Let the people decide...

Let the people decide...
Yes lets. However, if you think that the current Tory government, lead by Bozza and orchestrated by tyrannical Dominic Cummings, gives a hoot about democracy then you are voting for the wrong flavour boyo.

Irrelevant.

You are the one gushing about 'democracy', answer the questions...

I'm concerned about us having a choice. I won't deny you a vote because I think your wrong. I expect the same respect.
Let our system work and let's all live with the result for the next 5 years

I won't deny you a vote
WTF are you waffling about now? Has a lying Brexiteer told you that there are to be no more GE's?

What is pertinent is the timing of a GE. Democracy won't allow a GE to interfere with other important political processes. Bozza already tried it with proroguing parliament and it has backfired spectacularly.

Democracy indeed.

A general election should not be used to determine a brexit vote, they're 2 different things.

Because of this you deny democracy

Why would you want self serving lying politicians.

They privatise stuff and flog it to their mates.

That is not democracy.
That is just devious politicians getting the public to vote against their own interest.

You have been sucked into this 'people versus parliament' sht that Johnson peddles.
He doesnt give a monkeys about you or Brexit.

The 21 Tory MPs voted against their personal gain to protect you and your future.

Brexit was caused by a referendum and it should be ended by a referendum.

An election to resolve Brexit is the same mess that created Brexit to solve Tory party split.

Better a banana republic under Boris than straight banana republic under the EU.

John D claims that straight banana's are a brexiteer myth, as I have shown above straight banana's do exist and they are on their way to supermarket near you.

Interestingly...

"Boris Johnson will bolster the world’s authoritarian leaders if he breaks the law by defying parliament over Brexit, a former Conservative deputy prime minister has warned.

David Lidington condemned hints that the prime minister will ignore cross-party legislation to block a crash-out from the EU – arguing it would “set a really dangerous precedent”.

And he went further by suggesting Mr Johnson would be helping the rise of strong-arm, populist leaders, who could seize on events in the UK to make the case for their abuses of democracy.

“It is very important at a time when, around the world, we are seeing people in other countries holding up alternatives to rule of law and democratic government, that British governments do always demonstrate that they comply with the law,” said Mr Lidington".
