Yes, spiders are our friends, not ones that blooming bite painfully though!
Plus, since I've been clearing the garden (and house) of the many many false widows we have, other spiders are making a return - great as I'd always had a nice mixture of types.
Am all for diversity you see!

I saw this mushroom when I was out walking the dog this morning. I got my hand in the shot for scale and the picture doesn’t quite show it but it was as big as my hand. What the picture also doesn’t show is my wife behind me screaming "DON'T TOUCH IT, DON'T TOUCH IT - IT MIGHT BE POISONOUS!"
