I have been fortunate to obtain at a big discount
I'm not sure "fortunate" is the right word. It's an old model which they're keen to get out of the warehouse, as it's being replaced by the 2000 series. Everything above the horizontal cross brace is the same in both boilers, and as such the same criticisms can legitimately be levelled at both of them. The 30i can use any controls and the condensate doesn't have such stringent installation requirements, but that's about it. Hope you got at least 50% off because it's massively overpriced for what it is...
If you're going to criticise, at least make it constructive. Always happy to learn if I've gone wrong somewhere....If you're going to offer advice make sure it's the right advice first. Maybe do a bit of research into the product.
You've got a decent boiler with a very good guarantee if you are unfortunate enough to experience any problem.Well it was £686. About £1050 usually and I agree that is too much. It has a long guarantee and I don't think I could have bought anything else decent for that outlay.
