A vaccine

Trump was elected on the basis of a number of things that in real terms he can do little about. Given what he is he would have been fully aware of the little aspect so made nationalistic noises. He's not a traditional politician so says what he likes - then backs down as he did recently with his CV19 plan, also cutting a donation by 15% rather than ending it. Some crazy media too - several prominent european leaders sitting in line on simple chairs all close together while he ponces about talking about gas from Russia being used as a threat - they might decide to cut it off to gain political influence over europe. Mind you all political types arrange media that will look good to people back home showing how influential they aren't.

Not that the virus wasn't (or couldn't have been) created by genetic engineering, but that the study didn't state that it was.

Nobody has proved that an invisible teapot doesn't orbit the earth.

The Chinese will not assist in any enquiry Into the caper

They have already leant on the W. H. O ;)

Usual Skullduggery ;)

If someone claimed a scientific paper claimed that there was such a teapot (when the paper made no such claim), the claim would be demonstrably incorrect.
Whether such a teapot existed, or not.

The first claim would be incorrect, the second claim would remain unfounded.

The point is, that a person making a claim of an orbiting teapot, or a virus created by genetic engineering, or a talking snake tricking a magic rib-woman, has the responsibility to provide evidence supporting their claim. It is not the responsibility of the rest of the world to disprove it.

How did columbus prove his theory that the world was round?

it wasn't his theory, it had been proven by an Arab mathematician centuries earlier.
edit: Greek

And Columbus failed to reach China by sailing West, he only reached Cuba

(not, as many Americans still believe, America. He never set foot there.)

Be that as it may no one believed this mathematician

You may claim that I have drank tea this morning. I may deny it, and state that it is for you to prove it.

Regardless of the above, I did in fact drink tea this morning. Whether you can prove it or not will not change that fact.

Some things can be taken as a given

They happen and we all. Know it

Proof of the event is not required

Oh, you mean like when Apollo, the son of Zeus, master of Olympus, drives a chariot pulled by fiery horses across the sky every day to bring light to the world.
