Been over the allotment this morning. Just some general weeding and watering but I’ve got to show you my two bestest plants. A cabbage and a cauliflower. Hard to judge the size by the picture but the cauliflower literally is the size of a football. I wish I could say that they were all like that!
Also found this fella - don’t know what he is but he was only on one of the weeds I pulled up so he went over the back fence where any slugs and snails go. Unlike many over there, I prefer to move 'em rather than kill 'em.
That’s it for now, I’m going to fire up the kodi stick and watch the British Grand Prix.

Your caterpillar is a cinnabar moth, leave them, they munch through weeds really well! Gardeners friend.
And don't know if you already did this, but if you tie the leaves around the cauli's, it keeps them lovely and white. The other thing is pick em as soon as they look good - they can turn very quick. It's impressive though, one of the hardest veggies to grow well

I’ve been cutting most of the leaves off, thinking that all the goodness will be going to the cauliflower.

That's why the chap, whoever he is is still a member of the cons, as well as it coming out today that they were aware of the rape allegations a month ago but sat on it.

Took the dog for a swim today. Over the allotment! She likes picking up things from the bottom of the water troughs.
While I was there I picked my big Cauliflower. Big as me 'ead! Going to pickle it.
