"Trump treated with experimental 'antibody cocktail' from Regeneron as 'precautionary measure'"

"Donald Trump has been treated with an experimental "antibody cocktail" from biotech Regeneron Pharmaceuticals after testing positive for coronavirus, said White House physician Sean Conley, who reported the president was "fatigued, but in good spirits".

"In a memorandum issued on Friday afternoon, Dr Conley said Mr Trump was treated with a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron's experimental antibody cocktail and he "completed the infusion without incident". In early-stage clinical trials, Regeneron's treatment has been shown to reduce the level of the virus and hospital stays when administered early."

"Joe Biden and his wife test negative for coronavirus"

"Joe Biden and his wife have both tested negative for coronavirus, the Biden family doctor announced. Mr Biden's health came under scrutiny after he shared the debate stage on Tuesday evening with President Donald Trump, who has since been diagnosed with the disease."

"Thank you to everyone for your messages of concern," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote on Twitter. "I hope this serves as a reminder: wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands."

Hes been given an antibody treatment that has been only tested on 250 people - its unlicenced and he's been given the largest dose.

Somehow I don't buy that.

Hopefully he makes it through.

Well Trump would be denied healthcare according to his Health Policy - pre-existing health conditions would make him uninsurable.

But.............. what about his hair!!!!!!!!
Noooooooooo

Trump departs White House for Walter Reed medical centre 'out of an abundance of caution'

"President Donald Trump has left the White House on the Marine One helicopter, heading to a military hospital in nearby Bethesda, Maryland, after his physician recommended the transfer "out of an abundance of caution".

"The helicopter, which Mr Trump boarded under his own power, left the White House's South Lawn at 6:20pm Washington time en route to the Walter Reed military medical centre after Mr Trump received an experimental "antibody cocktail" to treat coronavirus as a “precautionary measure”.

I thought Trump didn't look very well on that short statement he read out.
Reports say he was looking pale.........

Let's hope he is ok, it's a nasty virus.

I don't think there is anything to read with him being moved to hospital even though the White House has a full medical centre. It's a precaution

I'll be sure to pass on your best wishes next time I see him Notch.

The hospital he's gone to is a VA (Veteran's Affairs, i.e. ex-servicemen's) Department service.

Being a draft-dodger, he would not normally be eligible.

no doubt he is in the luxury wing.

I hear from a local that he has been starving VA of money and resources and their hospitals are run down and understaffed. Obama tried to build them up and it is said that Trump put a stop to it.

Perhaps he will not be universally popular.

"On June 26, 2020, the VA reported 20,509 cases of COVID-19 and 1,573 deaths among patients, and over 2,000 cases of COVID-19 and 38 deaths among employees.[24]
