No, but the whole point is that we did.
So when you asked why international woman's day, there is your answer.

Not if I had experience to grow up as a man. Duh.

I suppose then think what you say to me when I say I just simply do not see the racism you claim is still eating away at this country.

That means exactly nothing. Even people who thought of their wives and children as property could love them deeply.

So whilst you might not be sexist and you might love the women in your life, they aren't in any way related.

Im sure the 1st one is mine, she was IVF.
But I'll be having a word with my Wife.

Thanks for the Tip off

I'd ask yourself a, how does black history month affect you in reality.
and b, why it seems to bother you so much.

Did you know there's a national pet month in the UK? To celebrate our pets and make aware stuff about looking after them. Oh, the outrage!!! How dare we celebrate those fluffy bundles of joy.

Hmmmmm...... As for the white and ashamed - do what? Why? It's simply black history month, celebrating and learning about black people who've done loads for this country & others.
Alot of assumption going here.

It bothers me.
My racial profile

Checkout my original post I merely requested the same the equal as others are proclaiming equality. Without knowing it you've already reacted in the predictable manner of rushing to the defence of such without addressing my own request, instead insinuating the alterior motive here that I too could be racist. Your insinuation above "Why do you have such a problem with black x" thats a classic response that's so transparent in the intent.

Why don't we earmark each and every week for a different ethnic group in this country.. making it for black only from a racial/ethnic perspective seems a bit exclusive. How about national Gurkha week.. a formidable brave bunch of unsung heroes they are. Let's not be exclusive though unless that bothers you much, are there certain groups you would like to exclude sod.

Lets hear you facts then?
Did you learn nothing at school about history? Nothing at all? Wow.

Did you know that British men used to sell their wives instead of pay for a divorce?
Women, when they married, lost their legal status - it went to their husband.
Any money women earned, went to their husband.
Women, in the UK, until fairly recently were the possession of the husband.

Wild claims indeed. Sigh.

More nonsense. And making stuff up about what I said.
No wonder talking to you is so damn hard.

Nope, I never said that you may be racist. But I don't know another reason why anyone would be bothered. You either don't understand Black history month, or you have a simplistic view about it.

Black history month is nothing more than a celebration of the black lives in the UK. There's nothing wrong with it, there's nothing in it that takes away from someone being white. It literally is a nod to those who've done great things. You talk about equality - there wasn't equality in the UK!

Have a look next time you're about. Nearly everything you see - paintings in galleries, exhibitions, the statues etc are all celebrating white people. The history that is taught at schools in the UK is about white people mainly (though that is changing). You live in a white country, you see white celebration/identity every day. This is about the historically underrepresented black people who've done great things for the UK too and their history, and why not celebrate/learn about it? Why are you turning this into more than it actually is?

Your making things up. Ive never spoken to you.
When you highlight someone's post, then write underneath it, it looks like you're 'speaking' to me.
Have you not grasped this yet Bodd?!
