Are you for real,you can believe the media I will believe both what I personally see myself and people who are involved in it. They say the hospitals are at breaking point when they aren’t, they say on countless news stories that we will take you inside the main Covid wards and all you see is all the doctors and just a couple patients along with empty beds. They say the hospitals are in danger yet they have multiple nightingale hospitals lying empty all around the country. To get into one specific hospital down in Cornwall the entrance is right next to the dedicated Covid ward so you have to walk past the windows,you can openly see in and it’s empty. There has been multiple people who have got into hospitals and walked around filming the empty Covid wards putting the videos on YouTube ffs. But if the media who have been proven to not be accurate say a square is really a circle then you will believe it. Crazy

If it's Treliske hospital I know that last year they probably had no more that a dozen cases at worst, last I heard a week ago was they had in excess of 30 cases, two of my friends have wives/daughters who work there so I'm sure the figures I'm getting are good.
BUT, I know from other people who visit that the place appears to be deserted, loads of routine stuff (and not so routine) has been cancelled, also the covid stuff has been moved to one side to segregate it.

Am I right in thinking that if a person is tested Corvid +ve today and then die in a car crash tomorrow, they will be recorded as a Corvid statistic because the death will have been within 28 days of a Corvid test?

Of those countries who have a lower Corvid death rate than the UK, do they use the same recording parameters?

No, last year when we had one of the highest death rates in europe, Spains figures were terrible, worse than ours, until they changed their counting methods which reduced the daily death rate by a huge percentage leaving us at the top of the league. I suspect Germanys figures are calculated by the VW emissions people.

I know many people working in hospitals, and all say the same - it's busy, there isn't enough resources, not enough beds, carnage. And we've moved on from "covid wards" - other wards are being used and non-covid patients are not being treated.

As for being able to see into them - utter BS. Most wards cannot be viewed by the public at all, not unless you have drone to spy through windows.

It makes me chuckle that what people think is fact is what they hear off the media or read in the papers lol. Certain people on here seem to think they are experts because they read it in the media so believe certain aspects of stories.In my job in the last few months I was in a specific hospital in the south west doing some commercial work . This specific hospital was on the news as being jam packed with COVID patients. I spent 6 days in there doing work. Many times I was right outside certain COVID wards and there where 3 people in there. Not the 56 people the media said.I also have someone who works in a different hospital in my street who has said the statistics you read in the media are MASSIVELY exaggerated. One old lady was taken to her hospital with heart problems coming towards the end of her life,whilst in hospital she passed away and it was put on record as Covid.SHE NEVER DIED OF COVID.she died from heart problems that were ongoing in her life. I’m sick to death of people reading in a paper about stuff and that means it’s fact.This post will get deleted because all the idiots believe this bull . I WILL NOT BE GETTING A VACCINE end of. I’m not putting an unknown substance in my arm that was rushed through without the proper precautions etc. The medical companies knew that the government where desperate so rushed through something that hasn’t been tested properly then sold it to the government for billions of pounds and people are taking it. Good post, but I'm afraid you're talking to many on here whose minds are closed to anything other than what they see on the news at ten or in the papers. A definite drought of enquiring minds. I also have experience of tumbleweeds blowing through hospitals when they're supposed to be packed with gasping Covid patients. My 84 year old mother was on a Covid ward in Bristol after supposedly catching Covid while in for an op for 4 weeks. From the media stories about her hospital at the time I expected stressed medical staff rushing about tending to people in corridors. However the whole place was eerily quiet and her Covid ward was a haven of peace and calm. Wonder if she even had Covid, because she had no symptoms, which at her age, diabetic and weak following an op was miraculous - as was her recovery. But that's an argument for another day.

I didn’t think you could get anywhere near a Covid ward let alone get to count the patients they have in there.

When taking things into my mother (November), just used to ring the bell at the doors to the ward (Covid isolation ward). Was let in and went up to the nurses station. Wasn't allowed into her room, obviously.
