On Wednesday, border officials said Djokovic had "failed to provide appropriate evidence" for entry after arriving from Dubai. He is now being held at a hotel in the Melbourne suburb of Carlton which is used for immigration detention.

You do realise the visa`s are issued blind from the information given and if they have moved the goal posts regards past infection that isnt his fault. Which will be why the deportation has been put back till a judge decides monday

It's his responsibility to make sure it's valid.

Apparently the requirements for a reinfection to be valid, or not, were made clear two or three months ago.
