Bloody apologists.

No need to apologise for a work meeting. Obviously Boris must appear to be contrite in these woke times

Liberals jumping on the band wagon and randomers mentioning how they buried various relatives does not change that fact.

There is no outcry about all the establishments that kept open secretly and unlawfully, actually spreading the virus amongst their clientele. Gyms, clubs, pubs, cinemas.

As for the Serb and his blatant violations, that's completely different. No apology should be accepted and he should be given the boot.

What are we not being told about though?
The last party do was a smokescreen to hide something else (can't remember what) that was being done by the government so what are they doing now that they do not want us to know about?

Why is anyone holding out hope that either Labour or the Conservatives will do the country any good? Both are effectively the same, both have brought the country to its knees and both need to be abandoned. Are we to be forever doomed by these two parties?

What group do you follow?

The lib Dems are even more clueless.

The greens a little too mental, locally they are very good, but nationally the policies don't take into account the economic effect, and the effect on the average person, or the poor

None.

Why should I if none of them are any good?

I would like there to be a properly conservative party. The party currently calling itself Conservative is anything but..

What chaos ? I remember the 70's as being great, especially 76, best school summer holiday I remember.

Perhaps I should have said economic chaos - Winter Of Discontent, power cuts, unending strikes, Sick Man Of Europe, bins not collected. Couldn't agree more, 70s was a fantastic decade for me, as I was a carefree child/teenager and remember the long hot summers, music, tv, freedoms (now lost), etc, etc. But I imagine for a lot of adults trying to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads it was a worrying time. Would much rather live through that decade than this one.

I voted him in to carry out the result of the referendum when everyone else was backtracking, asking for a second vote, mounting legal challenges and generally heel-dragging and stalling. I've said it before, he can do one after that for all I care.

Yep - it was a choice of between a rock and a hard place, no viable choice at all.

Maybe Boris will pack it all in before he gets the boot.

His mealy mouthed apology about the Xmas party shows that he doesn't seem to care anymore whether the public believe him or not.
Used to be politicians would put a bit of effort into covering up their misdeeds.
Boris these days it seems, can't be arsed to even try to come with a half decent cover story.
He has an 80 seat majority, so maybe he believes that will make him fireproof.

The Brexers made the mistake of believing that he would deliver the sort of Brexit they wanted.

Since nobody had agreed what this was, and different Brexers wanted different things, this was never going to be possible.

No matter, Liz is going to renegotiate the whole caboodle.
