Nosy, every year in the UK 20,000 elderly die from the cold and cold related illnesses. Are we really expected to give a **** about 130 heat related deaths.
Last summer, 2,556 people died when temperatures hit a high of 37.8 degrees celsius

forecasts suggest many more this year

You're at it again Notch with your meaningless figures.

Was that on one particular day or over a few days?

How many normally die on that date or dates?

And, it's last summer you're talking about, when you were claiming all deaths for covid.

They’re even confusing themselves with their fables:rolleyes:
with covid or of covid , wait, with covid and heat stroke and dehydration or of covid and heat stroke and dehydration ? No wait….

You can ask people to drive carefully when it snows, wear a seatbelt, not to drink and drive, slow down when pizzing it down. But the morons just keep on dying and proving old Darwin had a point. I'd heed their advice trans, some of that American tat you love is the most unsafe pile of junk on the planet.

Nonsense the Transam 2nd generation model has effectively and RSJ on the front and rear

Yep tis a fact

You know nowt about American muscle cars from 60 s and 70s

And doubt ( know) you have never driven one

Jeez us the Uk is turning into a nanny state

People need guidance from government for every aspect of there life

:ROFLMAO:

Are you saying that our righteous & honest to the core meteoriologists are skewhiffing the temps by sighting their instruments in places where those temps can be predicted to be extreme???

How very dare you.

Don't you know that this is a climate emergency & we all need to stop making CO2 & pay more tax in order to save our childrens future.
You could always buy a thermometer ...
Although climate issues and taxation are two different things. You can recognise there is a climate issue but disagree with the model/strategy employed to deal with it.

You mean like don't swim in quarries, or stay off train tracks, or keep your car maintained... Oh wait that was the 1960/70s:
..Where a cartoon cat told you not to go with strangers.

Well fortunately there have been experts on the tv and radio giving good advice on how to best survive this heat wave event

They have imparted pearls of wisdom on survival

Stay in the shade
Don’t go out in the sun
Keep hydrated , that means drink fluids
Draw yer curtains
Turn off yer central heating
Switch on air conditioning units
Don’t wear a coat or jumper

Experts lucky we have to impart there knowledge other wise how would we have got through it

People die in these temperatures, some people with mental health issues, dementia etc need reminding.

If the people you mention were reminded as much about everything in daily life that could kill them as much as they’ve been about the weather in the past week there would be no time for anything else on tv.

occasionally at pertinent times. Not continuously at every opportunity , with even dedicated channels .

I think you might be exaggerating a little.

Guidance jeez us

How about people attempting to use some common sense in particular over what are or should be simplistic issues

Hot weather keep hydrated ? Jeez us wept

The people you meet tis a wonder they can actually remember to breath they are that use less

The amount of times one has had to explain how a simplistic on / off room thermostat works and had the

“ why are things so complicated” comment

Or the idiots who can’t work
Out why there “ gas” boiler does not work in a power cut

Dare say these fools are all dehydrated because no one told em to drink :ROFLMAO:

I seen this family yesterday, all stupidly overweight and burnt to buggery in the sun, the woman in particular had a scarlet complexion - I wonder if they could work out what was going on. If i was the NHS i would tell them to fark off
