They'd prefer the label of an Independent publisher - used to read it regularly and even had a contribution or two posted when it came out in the early days of Webworld but haven't looked in for more than a few years now. Maybe it's time to catch up.Twaddle.

Group Localised Child Sexual Exploitation Offenders: Who and Why?
Since 2011, the prosecution of Asian men for Group Localised Child Sexual Exploitation (GLCSE) in the UK has led to two opposing positions: (1) Asian men have bpapers.ssrn.com
'We conclude that Muslims, particularly Pakistanis, dominate GLCSE prosecutions: and consider the reasons for this, and some possible policy responses.'
Quoted from document linked above. Document link can be found in the article 'The British Pakistanis who spoke out against grooming gangs'
Richard Fewkes, NPCCOffences where grooming gangs are involved are predominantly white. There is not a significant issue here with any particular ethnicity or setting
Sunshine insists on being schooled. Take it up with the Muslim bashers, not me.Yada yada, f'king yada.
So there is little evidence to suggest that Labour would suffer a mass exodus of ethnic-minority voters if it were to commit to a proper inquiry.'
"Kemi Badenoch gave an interview to GB News about her call for a further inquiry into the grooming gangs scandal. The Tory party leader made a number of claims both about the inquiries into this crime, and the crime itself, that do not fit the evidence."
FT.com
"In Kemi Badenoch’s sit-down interview with GB News, she set out what she sees as the shortcomings of previous inquiries into grooming gangs and the issues that need to be looked at extensively.
Later on in the newsletter I will address one of Badenoch’s remarks that has been driving all of the news coverage of the interview — that grooming gangs are made up of “peasants”, “not even just from one country, but from sub-communities within those countries”.
The fact that the last government and the RWR completely ignored the last inquiry, is scandalous. If they had any brains, they'd hang their heads in shame. So the only problem is that if the Tory wrecking amendment had been accepted, it would have delayed implementation of recommendations from the previous enquiry, which took years, cost millions, and was not implemented by the previous government. And would take more years and cost more millions when we should be concentrating on implementing the recommendations and catching the criminals.
Why would anybody want that?
Can you think of any reasons why Badenough chose not to speak the truth? None of her supporters have come up with a convincing excuse for her.
I think there is a strong possibility of a massive cover up going on.So the only problem is that if the Tory wrecking amendment had been accepted, it would have delayed implementation of recommendations from the previous enquiry, which took years, cost millions, and was not implemented by the previous government. More irrelevant cherry picking.'Since the re-emergence of the grooming-gangs debate in the UK, one of the most robust interventions has been made by Kishwer Falkner, a first-generation migrant from Pakistan and current head of the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Falkner wrote for The Times at the weekend about the need to investigate why ‘Pakistanis, or a subset of Pakistani men, are so overrepresented in the gang-rape outrages’. She specifically refers to the baradari clan system, which ‘encourages a closing of ranks’. This resulted in some Pakistani communities operating as tight-knit, secretive networks that covered up grooming-gang rape and exploitation.'
'baradari clan system' is this the link to what Kemi Badenoch meant when she said 'peasants' from 'sub-communitues'? I did not totally understand where this rhetoric came from but at a guess, it could have come from this.

Is it possible you stop spamming the thread please?More irrelevant cherry picking.
This however is indisputable....
A number of high-profile cases - including the offending in Rotherham investigated by Professor Alexis Jay,3 the Rochdale group convicted as a result of Operation Span, and convictions in Telford – have mainly involved men of Pakistani ethnicity. Beyond specific high-profile cases, the academic literature highlights significant limitations to what can be said about links between ethnicity and this form of offending. Research has found that group-based CSE offenders are most commonly White.

Research on offender ethnicity is limited, and tends to rely on poor quality data. It is therefore difficult to draw conclusions about differences in ethnicity of offenders, but it is likely that no one community or culture is uniquely predisposed to offending. • A number of studies have indicated an over-representation of Asian and Black offenders in group-based CSE. Most of the same studies show that the majority of offenders are White.

I wonder if biking from the boatyard understands what this says......
Most grooming gang offences carried out by white men, police chiefs say
or this....
The vast majority of grooming gang offences are carried out by white men, the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) has said.
or this....
New figures from the police database show that, where ethnicity data was available, 85% of “group-based” child abusers were white in the first three quarters of 2024.
Richard Fewkes, NPCC
The same data for the whole of 2023 showed 83% of offenders were white.

You won't change the (uncomfortable) facts boyo.
Personally, I view the Conservative side and the Labour side as much of a muchness.Somebody must have been in charge of running the country while the report was ignored.
