I know it's always been used and I know the reasons why. However I've definitely noticed a greater uptake and more consistent use recently.

Almost every interview I'm now seeing has them saying 'great question!' wasn't noticing it as much in months gone by.

I havent noticed it personally.

Have to admit I do that sometimes (the 'so' thing.)

Yeah re the 'good question' one, now I'm heightened to it I'm hearing it left right and centre. Like I say the best one was a guy who said 'great question' to every friggin' question the interviewer was asking!

"Tell you what" and "So" really gets to me. I could just punch anyone who keeps saying these before every sentence.

My favourite is traveler speak. There is no concept of one speaks and the other listens. Both talk at the same time over each other occasionally stopping to say “dya get me?” To see if it’s sunk in and if they get no response they repeat with “what I’m saying is..”

"Mind you", and "at the end of the day". I have often poked someone in the eye who comes out with either of those.
