What he seems to be saying is that the Younger Dryas event might have been caused by a cosmic impact, rather than glacial melt as I had posted above.
Extraterrestrial events are his pet subject and he likes to talk about that a lot but the subject is the GISP ice core analysis showing the climate can have an increase of by as much as 10 degrees in 10 years. - According to the ice cores which puts a spanner into the doomster nuts that spout "unprecedented " when they are talking about 1 degree.

It gets very murky.
If those trees had been grown as a fuel source on land that currently wasn't sequestering CO2, then it might all balance out.
But if they are cutting down virgin forests full of trees which have been soaking up CO2 for hundreds of years, then that creates a carbon debt. In the medium term we will have increased the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.
There are science observations that show other planets in the solar system are also experiencing warming. Now here is the odd bit, on a quick google about it the top results are ones debunking the subject - but not the actual study itself. - the phrase doth protest too much springs to mind
Can you please link to the actual study itself. I would be interested to read it. I have no idea how we are getting these measurements, but I am keen to find out.
