I do like Leeds the place. My lad lives near Bramley, which I believe isn’t the best place ?
I used to work in Leeds so I know Bramley by reputation. It used to be pretty bad. It's just down the road from Pudsey which is much nicer.
Cardiff City, hence the '1927' in my username, the year we won the FA cup.

We did the Bramley canal walk earlier this year. It was a bit sketchy.
I remember the Heineken beer festival before it was Leeds fest. We saw Pulp Foc. Good days.

I used it live in Newport, so I followed them for a few years. Loved it down there.
Leeds is great. But for some reason, I always preferred Sheffield. Maybe because it's a bit grittier, like me.
I remember going to Leeds in 1975 to see Cardiff in the third round of the FA cup, we lost 4-1, the walk back to the train station was 'interesting', lots of derelict houses and gangs of locals attacking us.

I've got family in Newport, in the Duffryn estate. Used to do a lot of work down Pill many years ago, loved it down there, good pubs and friendly locals, I've heard its pretty bad down there now sadly.
What about now?

It’s 20 odd years since we lived there. Never had an issue, made some good mates. It was a bit edgy around the fringes, but still not a bad night out.
We lived on Chepstow Road, just before Newport centre.
I always thought pill was in Cardiff. But I knew a lad from there, he was a “real un” as we’d say up north
