Decaf Tea

I cut out both alcohol and caffeine on a trial basis a few years ago. I really enjoyed not feeling like I was in an altered state. So, I've stuck with it.
I totally respect that. Well done mate.

Personally I don’t see a cup of tea being an issue. But we are all different.

Alcohol, yeah I can understand that one.

I think he might have closed down.

The obvious flaw in his business model was 20 cups of tea for £4 quid. But it was proper nice.

I really look forward to getting home from work on Friday evening and drinking a large glass of red wine while watching Top of the Pops on BBC4. Other than that the only other time I drink is when I go out with my old school mates twice a year, when I normally get completely bladdered.

I was talking to myself about this today.
I dont believe I could willingly give up coffee. My coffee is so good its just not something Id do unless it was life or death.

However a previous conversation if I had to give up alcohol or Coffee, which would it be?

I really didn't know. But now Ive been of the beer for 5 weeks, and I feel great for it. I couldn't do 5 weeks off the coffee.

Ive not tasted an alcohol free lager thats thst good, but the Guinness 0% is pretty good and it fits with my diet.

Decaf coffee is generally better than decaf tea. It doesn't seem to lose as much flavour.

My wife likes Yorkshire Tea, but because of cost she drinks Thompson’s Decaf and says it’s nice. She has tried others, her Dad likes Tetley but she doesn’t. I drink both tea and coffee, but mainly the latter. I discovered cheap tea in B&M - made by Hyson (yet to try the black tea) and True English Tea, but neither seem to offer decaf for you. Hyson do a decaf Earl Grey if that floats your boat?

When we had regular tea, Punjana was our tipple. They changed the name to Thompson's at some point. Made in Belfast. Best tea ever.

@Vinty do you drink it.
