A handful of good news stories that I thought I'd share.

Cervical cancer may stop killing people by 2040. The HPV vaccine is working brilliantly and screening means it can be picked up and treated reliability.

The Chickenpox vaccine has turned out to be more effective and have fewer of the side effects we were worried about and so it is now to be offered to children.

And the sugar tax seems to have helped improve children's teeth.

Great news. But it wont stop entirely. Pity that some folk (anti-vax morons) choose to believe quack Web pages rather than scientists and verified medical papers.

The cervical cancer vaccines continue to shine.

And as a reminder for the oldies, the Shingles Vaccine may reduce your chances of having Alzheimer's.

Yep, a big (y) for the NHS in implementing an all encompassing approach to an illness...

Just a shame a certain political 'leader' wants to get rid of the NHS!

Proper vaccines work brilliantly, and have done for many decades.

The Covid thing wasn't a vaccine, it was some untested new miracle cure thing, chucked together in a hurry to fleece the government while they were panicking.

Against my better judgement, I got the jab. I got covid during what should have been the peak of its protection about a month after the second shot. As did my other half.

So we got no benefits, plus a load of unknown possible side-effects from an untested jab.

This is what happens when people don't understand how vaccines work. When you get infected by germs vaccines make your immune system work faster. Sometimes fast enough you can never tell you were infected, often enough to make the symptoms gentler.

Yes, that's what the snake oil salesman said.

In reality we were both knocked sideways by it for weeks. It had zero effect.

If you're in a car crash and you still get a flailed chest even though you're wearing a seatbelt does that mean it had zero effect?
It wasn't a vaccine, it was nonsense. It wasn't developed in a similar way to any existing vaccine, it was some new completely untested science.

It didn't prevent it, make recovery quicker or prevent it spreading.

Which one of the vaccines are you objecting to again?
