Well isn’t good enough though.Reform got an increase in vote share from the last election, despite the appearance of Restore. They did well.

Maybe he should stand as MayorView attachment 416857
Reform did well, up 2.7% from a very successful 2024 result, even despite Restore's impact.
Burnham won solely because everyone hates Starmer and would vote for absolutely anyone who was in a position to oust him, even Burnham.
If Reform had won then we'd have kept Starmer. So in a weird way, a vote for Reform was a vote for Starmer. They had a lot against them, this was a uniquely weird election.
That plumber bloke should be very proud of how well he's done in spite of everything against him.

Count binface totally owns pathetic sky reporter.

Nobody has done a good job so far of explaining why.It is a win for reform. You just can't see it.
They've had a stab at running a few councils and the results have been abysmal.I just hope that Reform don't let us down.

Starmer is a centre left moderate, Burnham is a full on paid up leftie. With Burnham at the wheel, the government will lurch to the left, causing more damage. Labour's popularity will blip up and then crash down. someone else will be in charge of Manchester and Burnham will lead Labour to wipe out at the next GE, if he lasts that long. Makerfield will take back the seat they lent him and that will be the end of him. Might have to get a real job.Nobody has done a good job so far of explaining why.
Based on voting intentions, people simply hope they would be better than Labour. Its not a tough act to follow. They've had a stab at running a few councils and the results have been abysmal.
Imagine that on a larger scale. They may try to crowd-please by slashing taxes, but that will have disastrous consequences. They will attempt to tackle the small boats. I cannot see that they will have any more success than the others who have tried. Ultimately, I believe they will let you down.

That must be right. Enough Brits have had the advantage of seeing Trumpf in action and put two and two together with Farridge and Rupe.He did as "well" as he did because there are some stupid, hateful, misogynistic voters out there.
Thankfully though (for now, anyway), "well" is not enough, as the British public aren't as retarded or as self-defeatingly hateful as the MAGA tw@ts![]()

A lot of reform voters are considering them as the least worse option. Reform have got some interesting policies, they may take us in a better direction, but mainly they wont have to be that good to be vastly better than this disastrous Labour government.MB
That's really interesting.
I asked you about how nobody has done a good job of explaining why it's a win for Reform.
I was expecting your answer to mention the positive attributes of Reform at least once, but no.
All you could do was describe how you thought the incumbent party might fall and say was that people would hope that Reform would do better than them.
Reform have got some interesting policies
