Who has right of way on this scenario............. A straight road with a mini roundabout and 2 cars approaching it in opposite directions i.e north and south.

The one car ( coming from the North) wishes to turn left into Smith Rd and the Southern one wishes to turn right into the same street.

Who should be allowed to turn first? :D

Depending on the alignment of a mini roundabout to the road/s, some people seem to think that the give way line does not apply to them and get uppity with people going onto the roundabout further round clockwise from them and apparently impeding their progress, despite the fact that they (the uppity one) were behind the give way line on their approach road, when the other vehicle was already on the r/about

In simple money - roundabout - replaces crossroads.
How will two vehicles approaching from opposite directions both turn right correctly? By passing behind each other ( roundabout should force this if both vehicles cross give way lines at same time ), not many do it right, I guess.

Woody: Not if they're behind the white line on their approach and you are crossing the white line, as at that point they are not on the roundabout and you are.

the one turning left, as to him its a corner, to the other guy its a roundabout.

however if the othr gar is already on it, he will be coming from the right of the other bloke

Have one at end of my road, you always think you can easily turn left as the oncoming car has not reached the roundabout yet.

Then the tw4ts suddenly turn right and drive over the top of it, as it is just white paint, just so they can get in front.

I now stop and let them turn right first.
