Revelation 234.4 What a load of tosh

Curious all this talk of an afterlife.
We're biological machines, when we stop functioning ... That's it ... GAME OVER!
No more impulses running round the brain giving us this consciousness stuff ... Just NOTHING.
It fascinates me that some people must cling on to there being something more, why not just accept the fact that we have a finite time in existence and that's it.

Does that mean you don't eat either?
No more biological functions at all?
A spirit devoid of all physical sensation?
Show me the exit!

Does this mean they have their own private area where other religions aren't allowed in? Like those places at airports that say "Frequent Flyers club members only".
A Muslim did tell me once that you can have all the things you weren't allowed on Earth, including multiple virgins. Why are they so obsessed with virgins (for which read sexual numpties) and does anybody ask the virgins what they want?

I would assume B&B that you follow a Christian religion, as Space cat says the unfortunate thing about all religions is that they are all exclusive...they all subscribe to the 'I'm in and you're out' theory.
The trouble is that each religion brings god down to a 'human level' picking and choosing who he wants in his kingdom and who he doesn't .....what a tiny pedantic god this would be.
IF there is a god who is capable of holding the whole universe in space, and as we said last night the size of the universe is beyond our comprehension, then I am sure that he is more than capable of embracing all mankind and doing exactly as he pleases with us when we die.
If you are genuine in your post, and maybe only god knows the difference between a genuine post and a 'wind up' because its hard to tell at times on here
I suggest that you read Love Wins by Rob Bell an excellent viewpoint on Christianity and its relevance in todays society.
Space cat...stop telling everyone about the multiple virgins......they will all want some
