Cheap or free corgi's

Hi,

At my parents house they just had a new boiler fitted (from a free scheme). Due to some problems they've had (see other thread!) I've had a look around and noticed there was an expansion vessell on one the pipes in the cellar.

Why don't you ask whoever fitted a free boiler for your parents to give you one too?

Nowt wrong with BAXIs. I love 'em. Installing one for free is a once in a lifetime love though - not sure I'm ready for that kind of commitment.....:p

Actually there are a lot of industries where trainees offer free service. For instance i get my hair cut from the college. Trainee hair dressers and a free cut. Win win situation. They get the experience and I get a free cut.

A place near me is offering 'apprentice piercings' £15.

I know a couple of youngsters who have recently got their gas. They've both had their plumbing quals for several years and have been working with experienced RGI's as apprentices during that time - neither of them believe they are yet confident enough to take on an install on their own... let alone do it for FREE!!

I don't think you need confidence to do free installs.

Just a little stupidity!

Hi,

Is there any chance to get a boiler install done on the cheap (<150) or free by a gas registered corgi?
@jh75 Whilst I don't think there's any specific exemption for corgis becoming Gas Safe registered, I think they'd probably struggle as dogs don't have opposable thumbs. Trainee ones aren't cheap either, they seem to start at about £900 at 12 weeks old

I was on a job in Middlesbro and a prossie was offering a BJ for £1 or a bottle of magners. One of the lads went to the off licence for a bottle cos it was only 95p :sneaky:
