It's a bit tricky sacking someone for doing something that isn't illegal.
Should we also be sacking all the council employees who put up signs saying don't come here citing government rules. They were also fibbing and many are still at it.

There is no law preventing you from staying in your second home or travelling as far as you like. You need a legitimate reason to leave your home that is it.
I thought, at the time he travelled, that we were told to stay in our main home and local area?

And besides, it's about protecting those around and the NHS, having a sense of decency over 'being in it together'...

Oh well, seems that the Gov are now looking into the fines that people were given breaking lockdown... I shall laugh my arse off if they hand them back!!

Agreed. But the Barney Castle trip is a bag full of lies, and everyone knows it. He has broken the Civil Service Code, and can/should be dismissed.

Seems to me that all the tory boot lickers are all of the same ilk. The guy is a pathological liar and Johnson has shown himself to the same as have a number of senior tories. I did vote for Johnson purely because he said he would take us out of the corrupt EU which we never voted to be in. I have always been a Labour voter up until Blair killed the Labour Party and made them more tory than the tories. And then there was Corbyn, nuff said.

Corbyn and his gang of hard left ideologues bear significant responsibility for this government.

I agree Blair had too many right of centre policies -neo liberalism being one, but he also was quite successful in many areas including healthcare, education, police, introducing sure start, introducing minimum wage etc.

I dislike Blair he is rather too smug for me, but Labour wouldnt have been electable from the hard left, as it isnt now.....lets hope Starmer gets the party somewhere between Blair and Corbyn (personally I wouldve chosen Lisa Nandy, as she is not a millionaire from London).

IMG_0915.JPG He should go, I voted Conservative. I also think the press should focus on other MP's who broke lock down and especially on other news. It has become more obvious that the press are trying their hardest to gain readership rather than report impartial news.

And to think, DC is one of those unelected officials that are apparently so common in the EU, and yet we can't seem to get rid of him....

He should stay

Mountain out of a mole hill imo

I voted for no one

its rather different for MPs that dontlive in London and returned to their home.

I do agree the press, especially those journalists outside Cummings home -they arent showing themselves in a good light.

But I also say the press should continue -Cummings must go and they need to put pressure on the government to do so.

Yes and me although possibly for different reasons than you.
