They are turkeys voting to ban Christmas, but based alone on his dealings with Trumpf, Starmmer should stay, his MPs have to stand firm. The alternative is torey style chaos and the country, and the economy, have had enough of that.

The entire cabinet (?) came out in support of starmer

Hmmm well they would wouldn’t they other wise they would not be in the cabinet any more

They have to get behind him first before stabbing him in the back

Plus the may elections are coming up and if they do badly it will be starmers fault

Report on news suggests that he probably recieved incorrect intel ??? Assumed that some cabinet ministers / senior party members would call for starmers resignation ????

Must admit this entire caper makes a few sausage rolls a slice of birthday cake look a bit tame

I think plenty of the crew are going to be caught up in the mandleson thing. Its no coincidence all these advisors are leaving.

A straight swap would divert from Wez being sacked. And less likely to mount a leadership bid. If he did Kieth would get the support of 80 MPs and wipe the floor with him. Striking now while the iron is hot would also demonstrate Starmmers strength as a leader.
