Todays Job

Bit depressed today, got called to a post mounted light that had been reported as sparking and making a popping noise, I got called to it at 11.35am, dammit, turned into a big job and had to call in a mate as it was a two man job and had a high voltage feed direct from the overhead lines. Missed my big pub day and worked overtime to get the job done. Asked the gaffer if there was any chance we could finish early on Monday instead to have a good drinking session. Request denied. I said please on a Friday do not hold me up from the pub as I wont answer my phone in the future. Mugs.

You're such a hero

Very nervous this morning, my nearest and dearest is going into a sick bay to have a new rear end put on. I am like a cat on a hot tin roof today, didnt sleep all night. Will post pics up when it is done from how she is now to her new rear end.

some folk just know how to get the job done

I wouldn’t trust that to be honest. The car looks too old to me. Better to use a newer one so the ladders don’t go through the roof. Just my professional opinion but I will be right
