Todays Job

OMG. what a disaster. Taken a week off work to renovate our master bedroom and I have gutted it, new radiator, new window, new wooden blinds that work on a split system and motorised, new oak skirting boards, new bed and mattress, new bedroom furniture all bought from Italy for style and a bit of ,je ne sais quoi.... and new carpet. OMG such a lot of work and today was the grande finale until disaster struck. OMG I could just sit and cry if I wasn't such a hulk.

Was it the bathroom?
 
I don't want everyone to take the mick as this is deeply upsetting, I have spent aprox 10k on this project so that it is the perfect bedroom that a king would be proud to use. Today I have taken all of our old bedroom furniture to the tip and the charity shop on the tip, donated it all as my good deed to the needy. Got home and Lena was in tears. She recieved notification from the shippers to say because of this Iran war it is affecting their routes and is now delayed by 6 weeks aprox !!!!!! OMG I have now a new mattress we bought locally on the floor with no bedromm furniture including our bed.
