Been for a checkup today 28 quid......jeeeezzzus.....

Ive only got one tooth.....what would it cost if I had 54 like every one else (32)

Dentist I used to go to years ago got struck off and banged up for 6 months

Sexual assault (?) on patients !!!!

He was a good dentist imo at a reasonable price

He never assaulted me

Well not that I am
Aware of any way ???

My vet charges quite a lot as I have unique canine teeth. They can cut through steel....

I think my dentist sees me as a bit of a cash cow. I'm part way through having 4 crowns and 4 implants (separate teeth) done.

I've said no to a couple of things, like I have a big old gold crown on a tooth which isn't bothering me but he can see one of its roots has infection he can see on X-ray. He wants to change it for an implant just because it needs changing. I forget how much that one would cost but I'm more concerned about the time it takes. It's months per tooth, usually he has to add artificial bone which takes time to be assimilated. I've told him I've got enough being worked on so he has to wait until I have more properly working teeth. He thinks "why wouldn't you want them fixing?". My response - "cos I can't be assed."
A denture probably beckons at some point, or I'll have a gap, soddit!

Mrs mottie went last week for a check up and a clean and I’m going to the same one for the same thing on Monday. £85. I don’t think that’s expensive. Timewise, that’s on par with what the mastic man charged me that I had in last week but he only had a rucksack, a dozen tubes of different colour mastics and a mastic gun. The dentist has a lot more expenses than that. Staff, premises, rates, electricity, phone, heating, water rates, years of training, equipment etc etc.

I know who I’d rather be!

Mine is an NHS dentist so I assume he gets £28 from me and a bit more from the NHS?

My dentist hasn't sexually assaulted me but he can get on my nerves.... Especially at 2:30

We are classed as ‘independent’ which is halfway between NHS and private. Dunno exactly how that works though.
