Last golden yolk egg in the fridge, last tomato, last of the mushrooms, last two rashers of bacon, the very last asparagus from this years crop from the plot of Mott and a couple of refried roast spuds left over from yesterdays dinner. A nice bit of colour on the plate this morning.

Definately, absolutely, finally, I had the very very very last of this years asparagus this morning. No more until next March now. I mustn’t. Need them to Fern up and build strength for next year.

While Mrs Mottie is out, I made myself a sneaky Bacon, egg, tomato and mushroom banjo. This is gonna be messy.

After just two bites:

Mind you, not a drop on me - I ate it over a plate whilst having my upper body at 45° so any spillage missed me completely. All gone now, I've just got to clear up and leave no evidence for Miss Marple to find. :ROFLMAO:

Who are you kidding, Miss Marple, (I mean Mrs Mottie) will smell the bacon as soon as she walks into the house.

Had something I don't do often.

I had a fasting day on Monday, then Tuesday didn't eat until I made myself a mega breakfast.
Sorry, didn't think to take a piccy.

Two slices of toast.
Lots of mushrooms fried in butter.
Tin of plum tomatoes.
Tin of branston baked beans.
2 Quorn sausages.
Slice of Macsween veggie haggis (sometimes have veggie bacon instead).
2 eggs, fried in the dregs of butter left over from the mushrooms.

Bloody lovely and I didn't eat for another 24 hours.

Nope. Doors and windows open, extractor on max, wash down hob, wash down tiles, wash down upstand, wash up all frying pans and put away, plate in dishwasher, coffee percolator on when she came through the door filling the house with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, job done. ;)

Just the normal stuff you get in a hotel breakfast room but one thing I’ve never seen as an option at breakfast is this:

Mind you, I did hear a French accent last night.
