Accenta G4 bell box siren NOT working !

Well if you read back you will see where you have gone wrong,
What are the LED`s doing now, bet they are both not flashing.
Take the Hard Negative and put it into the Hold off negative rather than the bell trigger.

It looks like it's wired in telephone wire. Are you sure that all cores are complete? (not broken)?

Pretty sure the wires are intact.
Do you mean are the led's not flashing when the siren is going off ?
I take it the hard negative is the green.
Which colour wire is the hold off negative ?

Joe, one of the first things I said was it needs a continuity check.
I suspect there was a issue before and the cores were swapped out.

So to reiterate, you have either got the hold off in the trigger or the power is now not getting there.

The LED`s will tell you that if you look at them.

Ok when I put power back on the siren sounds and the two led's are flashing as normal.

Remove the bell trigger from the panel

I`m going to do this one step at a time so keep coming back. As all in one go does not seem to work.

Then you have either wired it incorrectly or there is a short circuit.

Your going to have to go up to the bell so lets prove the cable before anything else.
Remove the cable from both ends and make sure all ends are not touching and check for continuity, there should be none.

Then twist all together at the bell and at the panel check and there should be continuity at all.

Once you have done that you can start reconnecting.
This is of course if the cable is not jointed anywhere and the colours are the same at each end.

I assume you have at least a continuity tester or a meter.

Does it make any difference if you you press the tamper spring?

No difference when I push spring in on panel,
The cover is on the bell
I have a multi meter, how do I do a continuity test

Set the meter to a low ohm setting and you want to see a reading of 0.01 or there abouts, or put it onto bell test, so when the probes touch the thing bleeps.
Then test the cable.

You asked how to do it, I told you how to set up the meter.
Of course you have to check the cable.
