Hi I am just enquiring roughly how much I'd be looking at for a new gas supply for a cooker. The cooker is situated about 1 and half meters away from the gas meter which I understand they would need to tee off the gas pipe that is already there. I have had a new boiler done by a decent gas safe installer but am just seeing how much I'd expect to pay prior to speaking to him? Many thanks.[/b]

Why don't you ask him, you say he was decent.
He will be able to give you a far more accurate price than anyone here can.

I kinda knew I'd get an answer like that, I'm not planning on ringing until later on in next month, plus it is nearly 9 at night so I doubt I'd get an answer. I've had plenty of responses from tradesmen that do this sort of work and they have been accurate so just asking to see what they would see as a suitable price. Thanks anyway.

I would answer you during the evening.

If I had just done a lot of work for you and you were nearby then perhaps just the follow on price of £65 but as a stand alone job about £130.
