Age of adulthood??? nobody knows!!!

Well £400 a month may not be a problem for some, I was interested in the principle.
So we all agree then, nobody knows.:D
They could call it offspring support but they don't. They call it child support instead. 'Child' in the sense that it has parents and not 'child' in the sense of not yet an adult.
Lay off the sauce bud it does your IQ no favours.

Because a child is still your child even aged twenty. Geddit?
It ain't rocket.

Why stop at twenty then??? why not give CHILD support payments until they're 50????? It's as stupid as you.
Why are you so fixated on the wording? It's just semantics. Payment - FOR AN EDUCATION!!!! They allow for the child to do a-levels and no more, why is that so hard to grasp?
Go write to your MP complaining about the use of the word 'child' instead of writing here.

And read this https://www.gov.uk/child-benefit-16-19

Strange that if a child leaves school at 16 and doesn't go on to further education (whether they're employed or not) family allowance for that child stops.. So one department deems a child becomes an adult at 16 and another deems they stop being a child at 20.. Perhaps someone should take a case to the European Court of Human Rights,,,,,, Oh wait,,,,,,,, ,

Exactly, who knows.

Although it's not now as mysterious as me being abused for being a bad father and that post going missing.!!!:D
