It gets up to...

and then stops.

There is no space/time warp. Just sci-fi babble.
But there is.
Wormholes are theoretically possible.
We already know what would be required to make one. There's absolutely no chance of us (humans) being able to make it work sometime within the next hundred years, a thousand years?... erm, who knows?
A million years from now? If the will is there, then quite likely.
There could be beings out there a billion years more advanced than we are. That notion is far from impossible.

There are no wormholes or shortcuts. They are just sci-fi fantasy. Merely concepts. All 'if' and 'maybe'.

Not now there isn't. We don't have the technology needed to do it, that's a given.
Who's to say we won't in a thousand years time?
They are theoretically possible, remember.

Explain how tech will help with something that doesn't exist.

Explain your concept please?

Distances of thousands of light years could be covered in moments, if the ability to bend space time was available. Apparently, doing so is theoretically possible.
Who's to say that some life form, some civilization somewhere in the universe doesn't have the technology to do it.
They might.

Exactly, we really do have such a lot to yet learn.. The nay sayers, base their opinions on what we know now. I wonder if they would be saying similar, just 50 years ago, to many of the things we take for granted today, which would have seemed miraculous just that half a century ago.

Of course it does. There is no precise data available though.
The data from 50000 years ago is the same as the data from 50100 years ago.

This is the main problem I have. Although I understand and fully accept the science of climate change, I don't accept that we can categorically say that the earth has never warmed this quickly. We just don't have the data to that level of resolution.
