You need to remember UK currently has a racist PM, and a failing government, so any opportunity to stir up hatred against any group (by contributors who make it their hobby horse, but their hobby horse is allowed to remain ) that by definition have no voice, will be gleefully exploited.

But dare to post a BBC/OU educational video explaining the myth about the definition of race, and it is deleted on the pretext that it's a hobby horse of mine.
Well, I'd better advise the BBC and the OU that their videos are not acceptable material on DIYnot.
