Vista for most people was just one hassle after another

Windows 7 on the other hand has a few more nifty tricks and is thee most stable OS ever released!!

I doubt that, more stable than Microsoft's recent OS offerings... maybe, but certainly not more stable than Unix, Linux, BSD, etc.

Or Apple Mac. Mist stable of the lot. I've tried them all

Well when I got this laptop, I remember reading quite a lot of reviews about Vista and 7, and some, who claimed to have looked into all the details of the differences, said that at grass roots level, they're pretty much the same. Others, like EFC proclaimed the arrival of 7 as everything Vista should have been, but wasn't.

As I said, I've had this for three years, and only one major problem, due to a single update file.

Anyway, new mouse, 3 hours old, no sign of the problem. Sorted. (fingers crossed). God I hate computers.

I should find out then if Vista has changed much from its original release
