Axel Rudakubana - living with parents or not?

His state of mind was known to his parents and the usual agencies. Whatever the triggers he was clearly pre disposed to that kind of violence. If this had been America it would have been a school shooting on a bigger scale where the only innocent party would have been the gun and the bloke who sold it. A system that Trumpf defends.

RIP all those poor children
It is a very smart deflection by the government and media to switch the focus from terrorism to his ability to purchase the knife online. Whilst I am in no doubt the online sale of such items to under 18s needs to be addressed, I do not personally see this issue as a zero sum game with regards to Axel. I may be alone on that here, but looking at the results of today's Find Out Now poll in the wake of Southport, I think that is unlikely.

Most folk only need venture as far as their kitchen to find something capable of stabbing a child to death. I am so glad these nutters don't have ready access to guns.

So far, no link to terrorism has been found. Despite the police and security services spending the past six months looking for one.

Are you actually interested in finding out how this monster fell through the system and what lessons can be learned to stop it happening again?

The knife ban is just one small change which might have a small effect.

I know, you've spoken about this before. I disagree with you.

What I am or am not interested in, is besides the point. The public are making their feelings known.

And the UK government is having to brown nose and horn smoke the bloke
What? The same UK government headed by a bloke, that hasn't even spoke to him by telephone yet?

Poor horn-smoking effort if ever I saw one. Quite the opposite.

What poll are you talking about and what feelings are they making known?

Poll conducted on Wednesday and results released in last 24hrs. See post upthread.

I don't see any details. Was it a poll about views on terrorism or knifes or what?

You seem to do that often, i.e. spout a load of bollax then claim that you speak on behalf of others, in order to dodge accountability.

That won't wash on here boyo.

Please don't insult my intelligence. I'm not doing a Noseall and MBK loop with you.

I have no idea what you mean. What do you think I am doing. Why don't you just say what the poll is and what is shows. Or provide a link to a story. Then we know we are discussing the same thing.

So it looks like it is just a standard voting intention opinion poll with Reform on 26, Tories on 23, Labour on 22.

That is very interesting!

The guy is a nutcase, needs locking up.

Looking for terrorism connections that aren't there is just trying to stir up more social unrest

I'm glad the UK lock up people for encouraging vigilante actions
