Hey all.

As an employee of BG, I have been trainned in ceratain aspects of Plumbing/Gas, I hold An NVQ level 3 in Gas(dont know the actual name of it) But Dont belive I have any formal qualification in plumbing, apart form an unvented cert.

What would be reqd for me to be able to say im a qualified plumber?

I suppose you can tell anyone anything you like.

If anyone questioned you then you tell them you are qualified by experience!

In reality nobody would question you unless you were applying for employment or had messed up on something.

Just tonight I had a Polish plumber asking for work.

He must be very well experienced because he can fit taps, bathrooms AND BOILERS ! He only needs £5 per hour too.

Now the punchline! He was laid off from a Polish plumbing firm in London due to "not enough work"!

That should give you some idea just how old this old fart is

 £5 an hour? I always new you London workers got paid top rates.
