That advert - you know the one - 'You're so money supermarket' with the tight denim shorts and heels.....is it outrageous, ridiculous or just bloody funny?
My jury is out on that one
John :)

Always turn turn over when that comes on, along with Go compare, Foxy bingo..... the list goes on

dont watch more than a few seconds off adverts
i record all tv i want to watch except some bbc and the few seconds off adverts is a compromise between missing a bit off the program and no adverts or a few seconds off adverts as the zip through is in 30 second steps

Trouble is these days, anything goes, & what most people would find disgusting & abnormal is now being normalised .
Yes, I agree. I think 'promoted' is the word.

It would be interesting to find out what blightymam thinks about it.

Until, that is, Noseall and JohnD tell us what we should be thinking about it.

Dunno why, but anyway :)

Don't like the advert. I like funny adverts, those are the only ones I pay attention to and actually watch. Bring back the days of Hamlet cigar ads please! The bloke dancing with the fat bum isn't funny - perhaps it is with the youngsters these days, but they have achieved what they set out to do - people take notice. Same as those bloomin meercats, awful but everyone knows them now.

I also dislike shouty adverts, perfume/aftershave adverts with teenage models pretending to be sexy adults and car ads and their stylised way of trying to appeal to men to make up for 'inadequacies' by buying that car. This is the only car advert I've ever liked:

The alpecin shampoo advert that's on now uses the old castrol gtx theme music, bought back many a memories and I just had to YouTube it......

I thought perhaps it was because I'm not gay that I find it repulsive.

I should imagine there's many a gay man out there who'd find it a bit yucky too! The chap chosen for the ad is hardly drool-worthy from either perspective, poor chap.

You lot need to sit down & chat with a top flight advertising executive to fully understand what advertising is all about !

You just do not understand the irony of "talking" about it, even if you do find it annoying :-)

I wonder if women enjoy watching 2 geezers getting it on as much as men enjoy seeing 2 women at it. I wonder if women are repulsed at seeing women at it the same way as men find 2 men at it disgusting ?. Not anti gay, but best behind closed doors.
