Where do I go to get a megger mft 1552 calibrated?
The company that charged £62 or £65 last year wants £106 now. We all need to make a living but I think a 60% increase in one year is a bit ott.
I am in south London and ideally would bring it over rather than arrange for a courier.

Sorry, I don't know where you can get it calibrated, but you might try your wholesalers to see if they are doing a "calibration day" or get them to do one if they arent.

From a personal point of view I don't have to cal mine annually as I have a test box/dedicated socket & RCD adaptor with which I test my MFT every month (you just have to test straight after a cal and then ensure that readings don't drift - you also have to keep a record of readings) this method of calibration prooving is approved by the NICEIC for DI's (not sure about AI's though)

Noz, when I was working for an NICEIC AC, we had to check ALL our MFTs (and seperates if you have them) once a month with the checker box, AND have them properly calibrated EVERY year. (and record results, get certificates etc.)

I'm very suprised that this is any different for DIs :?
