Hi All

i having a shed come in the next few weeks and money is tight the min.

So for the base of the shed can i just put the paving stones down on a layer of sand with no cement and then put one of those weeding sheets over the top, then have the shed built on top.

Its fairly level and wont be more than 6x6 just to cover shed. Area around it is all grass

Thanks for any advice in advance

Better off digging the grass out or cutting it to zero length. Put the weed control sheet on the earth, then your sand, then paving slabs. If you use the 50mm thick council type ones you'll be fine, thinner ones from DIY shed might not work so well

Last night managed to get hold of some 3x2 contrete paving slabs.

Could i get away with putting the weed sheet down and then the slabs on top of short grass? Then shed go ontop?
